Based on a barley corn unit (1/3 inch). Men's and women's scales differ by approximately 1.5-2 sizes.
Similar to US but starts from a smaller zero point. UK sizes are approximately 0.5 smaller than US men's and 2 sizes smaller than US women's.
Based on Paris points (2/3 cm or 6.67 mm). More precise than US/UK systems. Most European brands use this.
The international ISO standard. Simply the length of the foot in millimeters, optionally with width. Most accurate system but least commonly used in retail.
